LMNGBR Long-Term Species Survey at Hilltop

Hilltop Arboretum is a wonderful living laboratory and outdoor space where you can experience nature right in the heart of Baton Rouge. LMNGBR has a partnership with Hilltop Arboretum and we are working to provide educational experiences and document the biodiversity of the property.

You can earn volunteer hours by documenting the wildlife and plant life at Hilltop Arboretum in iNaturalist. We also periodically invite experts to walk the site with us and teach us what birds, snakes, insects, aquatic life and more are there. This data is being collected in iNaturalist in the
Hilltop Arboretum Species Survey Project and eBird.

This digital collection project is open all year, so all visitors to Hilltop Arboretum can contribute data anytime by adding their observations of nature in iNaturalist. Please help us out by adding observations! It's easy - any observations made in iNaturalist on the Hilltop Arboretum grounds will automatically be added to our project.
